Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data is processed when you visit www.tediticic.com or contact me, why, and what rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Website visits

The site is hosted by Netlify. Like any web server, it briefly processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested, in order to deliver the site and keep it secure (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). This website does not use cookies.

The live crypto prices at the top of the page are loaded by your browser directly from CoinGecko (or Coinbase as a fallback), and the Fear & Greed index from alternative.me; these services therefore see your IP address. Video thumbnails are loaded from YouTube's image servers; the video itself loads from YouTube (privacy-enhanced mode) only after you press play.

Visitor statistics

I use Umami, a cookieless analytics service, to count page views and clicks on buttons such as WhatsApp, email or PDF download. Umami does not set cookies, does not store IP addresses and does not create profiles of individual visitors. The data is aggregated and anonymous.

Contacting me

If you write to me by email or WhatsApp, I process your name, contact details and the content of your message to reply and, if agreed, to provide a consultation (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). I keep this correspondence only as long as needed for that purpose and for legal obligations such as invoicing. WhatsApp is operated by Meta; its own privacy policy applies.

Online booking

The booking calendar is provided by Cal.com and loads only after you click "Show calendar". When you book, Cal.com processes your name, email and chosen time on my behalf so that the appointment can be arranged (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

If you subscribe, your email address is stored with MailerLite, my email service provider, and used only to send you new guides and scam warnings. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You confirm the subscription by email and can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every email; your address is then removed from the active list.

VIP membership

For VIP members I store an email address, an encrypted password, membership status and expiry date, and an optional internal note, so that members can sign in and access the content (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The data is stored with Supabase, a database provider, in the EU. When you sign in, the browser keeps a login token in local storage, which is needed to keep you signed in. Membership data is deleted on request once the membership ends.

Service providers and transfers

The providers named above process data on my behalf. Some of them are based outside the EU (for example in the USA). Where this is the case, transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability and to withdraw consent at any time. To use these rights, email tedi@tediticic.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the Croatian data protection authority, Agencija za zaštitu osobnih podataka (azop.hr).
